To transmit our cheese making expertise
Producing a good cheese requires a good-quality milk as well as the know-how of passionate men and women. Our in-house schools encourage members of the young generation to consider careers as master cheese makers or maturers thus ensuring the transfer of an exceptional regional dairy know-how. We are proud to produce, using the best practices, a wide variety of cheese made from cow, sheep or goat milk.
A regional cheese board
21 of our cheeses have been awarded an Appellation d’Origine Protégée (AOP) or an Indication Géographique Protégé (IGP) and our know-how is regularly rewarded in the General Agricultural Show. We produce and mature in our regions: Brie de Meaux AOP, Munster, Tomme des Pyrénées, Cantal AOP, Bleu d’Auvergne AOP, Roquefort AOP, Comté AOP, Beaufort AOP, Raclette de Savoir IGP, Gruyère de France IGP etc. This cheese board perpetuates a cherished gastronomical heritage. Our cheeses can be found in kitchens, on consumers’ table and in restaurants in France and abroad.
Entremont, a taste with a difference!
Created by three brothers in Annecy in 1948, Entremont joined the cooperative in 2011. Entremont produces and matures cheeses firstly specialising in Emmental cheese before moving to Comté AOP, raclette cheese, organic Emmental cheese, Gruyère France IGP cheese etc. The brand delights consumers with a wide assortment of cheeses for their board: grated, sliced, frozen or cut to order.
Well-known brands as quality benchmarks
Our products from the Compagnie des Fromages & RichesMonts* have won the hearts of French consumers with RichesMonts raclette, Le Rustique camemberts or even the Coeur de Lion brie. These products are also available abroad and continue, year after year, to tickle the taste buds of our international consumers. The success of these three brands is based on the quality and taste which they provide consumers.
